The following are guidelines to consider when using the buildings of the Croton Church of Christ. We view this facility as an evangelistic tool to be used to further the Kingdom of God. Any use of the facilities should be measured against this standard. Our hope is that through our facilities, someone will be brought closer to God and His Son, Jesus Christ. We suggest that you read the following guidelines carefully. If you have any questions, please call our church office during regular business hours.
The facilities of the Croton Church of Christ are reserved for church events and they will be the only events taking place on Sundays and Wednesdays when the sanctuary is being used. Church activities have first priority. Sets, props and decorations cannot be removed without first consulting with the church office.
Use of facilities must be scheduled through the church office by completing a “Building Use Request Form”. Please see the Office Manager for a fee schedule.
Approval for use by a group or organization is for a designated area and does not grant group access to the entire facility.
Children must be under constant adult supervision. At no time are children permitted to be alone in any room of the building or on the church grounds.
If you desire the use of church owned musical equipment, please contact a member of the Praise and Worship Ministry.
Any items used in your activity should be returned to their designated storage areas. Please leave the Croton Church of Christ facilities clean and presentable so that we can continue ministering to our community.
A Croton Church of Christ member must be present while the facilities are being used.
Those using the facility must stay in the designated area. User will be financially responsible for all damages.
Except in special cases, the event should be scheduled so that the last person is out/off premises by 9:00 p.m.
No decorations or signs are to be attached or affixed in any way to the walls or doors.
No throwing of rice or confetti anywhere on property inside or outside. Birdseed may be used outside with permission.
No soapy liquids creating bubbles anywhere inside the property.
Chairs in the Family Life Center must be set up for our church service after the use of the multi-purpose room.
Activities not associated with the ministry of Croton Church of Christ are prohibited, such as smoking or the use of tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, gambling, lodge or secret meetings, dancing and other activities as determined by the church Elders. This rule of thumb should be remembered: Any activity undertaken in the Family Life Center will reflect on the members of this church and, more importantly, Jesus Christ. Please use discretion. If you have any questions, please call the church office.
